We have compiled a list of local vets, they are in no particular order and other than the vets we use, we
can’t say if they are good or bad. A few things to look at when choosing a vet, if you work all week, try to
find one that is open late enough so you can get there after work or one that opens Saturday or Sunday.
This can also help avoid emergency vets which can be horrendously expensive, out of hours vets can be
very expensive with consultation fees as high as £300, that is without any treatment. If you do have to
use an out of hours vet, do check the costs first, if it’s a weekend, if can be much cheaper to go to one of
the vets that are open where you should only pay their standard consultation fee.
